Job Title: Carpenter and Renovation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter and Renovation Specialist to join our team at Lovely Renovation Toronto.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry and renovation, including preparing estimates, reading blueprints, and measuring and cutting materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Willing to travel
  • Public transportation is available
Work Environment:

The work environment will be noisy, dusty, and outdoors. The successful candidate will be required to work at various locations and be willing to relocate.
