Responsibilities:

* Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
* Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
* Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
* Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
* Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
* Schedule and coordinate work on sites
* Survey building locations and levels

Requirements:

* 5 years or more of experience in the trade
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
* Willingness to travel and work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
