Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Chimera Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in the trade
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments
  • Willingness to travel and relocate
