As a Physiotherapy Resident with Nova Scotia Health Authority, you will be working in a tertiary care setting where you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, as well as membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to determine team goals and objectives, participate in the evaluation of team effectiveness, and solve problems and share responsibilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software
About the Opportunity

This is a full-time long-assignment position, 100% FTE, with approximately 12 months duration. The shifts will include days and some weekends, and travel to various sites may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $33.97 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
