About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as an Intermediate Civil Engineer - Conveyance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex and rewarding projects, driving change and shaping our communities in new and positive ways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Business Lead and Managers, Project Directors to deliver civil design for linear infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate all aspects of the civil design, including design development and verification
  • Develop or verify the technical scope of a project, ensuring client requirements are integrated
  • Complete civil designs within budget and schedule, ensuring quality controls processes are followed
  • Participate in design coordination meetings, addressing critical issues and facilitating decision making
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, representing GHD at Client meetings when required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years' extensive technical design experience, with a focus on civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects
  • Demonstrable experience in civil design delivery for linear infrastructure projects, with a detailed understanding of local Agency Codes and Standards
  • Experience working in an integrated 3D environment, with team building and mentoring skills
