Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children from birth to school age with speech, communication, and related disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments to identify communication and related disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs
  • Provide education and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Participate in program planning and evaluation to ensure high-quality services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university program
  • Registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
  • One year of experience working with clients in an Early Childhood Intervention setting
  • Valid BC Driver's license where required
