Rehabilitation Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the operations of our rehabilitation services department.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs under the supervision of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Recreation Therapist.
- Assist with monitoring patients'/residents' progression and provide support to the clinical team.
- Support the operational and technical functions of the department, service, or program.
- Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid driver's license as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
