We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at B D Cannabis Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.



About the Role

  • Manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, analyzing market trends and customer demand to make informed decisions
  • Liaise with suppliers to procure high-quality products for resale, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales, including social media and in-store promotions
  • Monitor store inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring a positive shopping experience


Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as business or marketing
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail management, preferably in a cannabis or similar industry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and retail software
  • Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
