Pump Design Hydraulic Engineer

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a highly skilled Pump Design Hydraulic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Pump Design Centre, you will be responsible for designing and developing hydraulic systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop hydraulic systems for pumps, including creation of modified impeller and casing volute designs
  • Perform pump hydraulic checks and calculations to ensure safe and reliable performance
  • Manage the creation of models, drawings, and customer-related document submissions
  • Support pump performance testing and analysis
  • Interface with sales and tendering teams to provide hydraulic expertise
  • Investigate root cause of pump hydraulic design-related problems and update designs accordingly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering and P Eng Certification
  • At least ten (10) years' experience in hydraulic design and engineering
  • Proficient in CAD and 3D modelling software applications
  • Experience in performance test data analysis and processing for compliance against specification
  • Ability to create new or adapting existing presentations to create visually appealing, persuasive, effective presentations
