Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a highly skilled Pump Design Hydraulic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Pump Design Centre, you will play a critical role in designing and developing high-performance pumps that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop pump hydraulic systems, including impeller and casing volute designs, to meet custom applications.
- Perform pump hydraulic design calculations, hydraulic modeling, and create performance curves to ensure optimal pump performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with API 610, API 674, and other relevant international standards.
- Develop and maintain normalized curve information for range maps and PSD sheets.
- Investigate root cause of pump hydraulic design-related problems and update designs accordingly.
- Write design guides and technical papers to share knowledge and best practices within the team.
- Ensure safe working practices and safe product design principles.
- Review and mark up product drawings, models, and layouts as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering and P Eng Certification.
- At least ten (10) years' experience in pump design, hydraulic engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling software applications.
- Experience in performance test data analysis and processing for compliance against specification.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply classical design techniques and use of tools to undertake the full range of Hydraulic Engineering Design tasks.
