We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Burnaby, BC. As a Patient Experience and Social Work Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational strategies, programs, and materials related to social work theory, interventions, skills, and competencies.
This exciting role requires a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, along with four years of recent experience in a variety of practice areas, including mentoring, teaching, knowledge translation, creating educational materials, or providing leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based educational strategies, programs, and materials to enhance social work practices and patient experiences.
- Collaborate with Allied Health Practice Leaders and Education leaders to identify specific social work learning needs and develop solutions.
- Provide training to social work staff and students on profession-specific and inter-professional clinical practice guidelines.
- Maintain and update orientation education for new staff members, ensuring they are familiar with social work practice standards, clinical guidelines, legislation, and resources.
- Deliver learner-centered education to social workers and students through various mediums, including face-to-face and electronic sessions.

About the Role- Salary: $83,000 - $115,000 per year (based on experience).
