About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Installation Assistant to join our team at Jay-Smart Technologies Inc. as a Field Support Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a combination of physical and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various locations, providing support in the installation and maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Help with the operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment, as well as cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required, and hold stakes during surveying activities.
Work Environment

This role requires working at heights, in noisy environments, and in various locations. The work setting is physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Availability to work 35 hours per week.
Language and Work Term

This position requires fluency in English and is a permanent role.
