Bridgeway Family Homes, a leading provider of specialized foster care services, seeks experienced Child and Youth Care Practitioners to join its team.

Job Overview

We are looking for skilled professionals who can provide goal-focused support services to families and individuals in need. As an Independent Contractor, you will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality services in Foster Homes and the community.

About the Role
  • You will provide scheduled services to families and individuals, developing goal-focused activities and maintaining accurate records.
  • Your responsibilities will include communication with team members, case notes, reports, and administrative tasks.
  • You may be required to transport children/youth during service delivery.
Requirements
  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in a social service discipline (i.e. Child and Youth Care, Developmental Service Worker, etc.) from a recognized college or university.
  • Experience providing services to children/youth and/or families with diverse needs.
  • Current Verbal De-escalation Certification and CPR/First Aid are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of FASD, ODD, autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and other diagnoses is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and report-writing skills.

  • A valid Driver's License and access to an insured vehicle with $2 million liability insurance.
  • A computer and personal email address are also required.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
