Senior Legal Counsel Opportunity at Lightspeed

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our Commercial Legal team in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will operate under the supervision of the Head of Commercial Legal, Global, and be responsible for advising our business partners on all matters pertaining to both legal and business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on commercial contracts for enterprise-level customers, strategic partners, and vendors/suppliers
  • Mentoring/teaching other members of the legal team and stakeholder groups
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to advise on various business initiatives
  • Managing complex, cross-functional, and/or multi-jurisdictional strategic projects
  • Designing and implementing scalable systems, processes, and policies to enhance Lightspeed's scalability and efficiency
