Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Nursing Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients, adhering to established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
  • Ensure Resident Safety: Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges, and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Manage Medications: Safely store, control, and administer medications, adhering to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Registration and Certification: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, Medical Clearance (including TB tests), Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
