About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team at Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete breakfast meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and presented attractively.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific requirements and dietary needs.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and that all necessary items are available.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Teamwork: Work as part of a team to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, and that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
