Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at POKE PAGE4. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.
- Keep accurate records of food quantities used, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, maintaining a well-organized and clean kitchen environment.
- Take customer orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Permanent position with a minimum of 30-40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency required.
