Key Responsibilities

• Assist in operating hydrovac equipment and performing hydrovac duties in various working environments.
• Attend safety meetings to ensure a culture of safety within the team.
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs of hydrovac equipment.
• Prepare work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing potential hazards.
• Document and report all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 license (G license in Ontario) with airbrake endorsement.
• First aid, Ground Disturbance, and CSTS certifications preferred.
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for work assignments.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• Prior experience in operating hydrovac equipment or related industrial experience.

Benefits and Compensation

The successful candidate can expect an hourly salary range of $22.50-$26.20 based on experience. We also offer paid benefits, pension, and opportunities for career advancement. Union wages and benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreements.
