About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Encivil Contracting Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and prepare production and other reports to ensure timely completion.
  • Team Management: Co-ordinate and schedule activities, co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers, and supervise workers and projects to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and establish methods to meet work schedules while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, train or arrange for training, and supervise a team of 5-10 people, including crane operators, heavy equipment operators, labourers, and trades helpers.
  • Industry Experience: Possess experience in the construction industry, with a focus on demolition, drilling, equipment operation, excavation, and paving.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Work in a noisy environment with tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
