Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Melody Nacin. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail.
  • Support and Inclusion: Will train, applies accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities, recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
  • Work in Employer's/Client's Home: Employer's home.
