Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Melody Nacin. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Support: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Transportation and Travel: Travel expenses will be paid by the employer, and public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train, and previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the household.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work independently.
