The Enterprise Application Developer is responsible for defining, designing, developing, integrating, testing, documenting, and deploying solutions for assigned projects and tasks. This role works closely with the Manager, Enterprise Architecture to realize/implement/support services in the Enterprise Architecture (EA) domain and works on new projects based on requirements prepared by the PMO (project management office).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and improve existing application systems such as the firm’s Financial Services and includes 3E, Intapp Time, Intapp Open, Intapp Flow, Intapp Walls, Salesforce CRM, Workflow processes, and system integrations (Intapp Integrate).
  • Participates in projects as required and other tasks assigned.
  • Works closely with Solution Architects on technical implementation of solutions for scheduled annual projects and tasks.
  • Collaborates with Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
  • Assists with the implementation/installation of application systems and configuration as related to Project requirements and tasks.
  • Understands and clarifies business requirements, focusing on the current but keeping future requirements in mind.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of custom applications using developer tools such as Visual Basic.NET and C#.NET.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
  • Designs and develops technical solutions.
  • Prepares time estimates for design, development, and unit testing.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation as required.
  • Collaborates with other IT departments and the user community.
  • Investigates/resolves/document issues/requests received via the incident management tracking system and prioritizes each request.
  • Escalates incidents in a proper and timely manner per procedure to facilitate resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, OR equivalent industry experience.
  • 3+ years' experience designing/developing enterprise software within a fast-paced environment.
  • Some knowledge or experience in one or more of the following: Java, JavaScript, PHP, C#, Objective-C, C/C++, Python, ASP.NET.
  • 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
  • Strong RDBMS/SQL skills (SQL Server preferred).
  • Experience with Legal applications is an asset.
  • Experience with building SSRS reports is an asset.
  • Developing applications using ServiceNow scripting and workflows is an asset.
