Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an Audiologist to join the team at Vancouver General Hospital. As an Audiologist, you will perform clinical services, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with hearing loss and balance disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiology assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care
- Participate in research activities and contribute to the development of best practices in audiology
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia
- Master's degree in Audiology or related field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of audiology principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
