Job Title: Instrumentation Technician

Location: Grande Prairie, AB

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and controls equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation of pneumatic and process tubing, including planning and support structure setup
  2. Pressure testing of process tubing
  3. Installation and calibration of instruments using pneumatic, electrical, and bi-directional protocols
  4. Developing detailed reports for installation and setup of instrumentation and controls equipment
  5. Commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation, and controls equipment

Requirements:

  1. Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean Abstract
  2. Journeyman or Apprentice trade required
  3. Oil & Gas Industry experience considered an asset
  4. Effective interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  5. Exceptional oral and written English
  6. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
