Job Summary

MPC is seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Set-up Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulae to maintain product quality.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet MPC's high standards.
  • Change dies on extruding machines according to production line changes to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Forklift Operator Certification is an asset.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye co-ordination are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods is required.
  • Excellent oral communication, accuracy, dependability, and team player skills are necessary.
