Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Age Educator to join our team at Compass Early Learning and Care. As a School Age Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and lead interest-based and play-based activities that promote children's unique interests and abilities.
- Maintain active supervision while engaging in play and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of children.
- Document children's learning progress through observation, reflection, and research questions.
- Create and maintain a safe and inclusive environment that supports children's growth and development.
- Assist children with daily routines, such as diapering, dressing, and eating habits.
- Foster strong relationships with families and involve them in the learning process.
- Collaborate with coworkers, families, and community partners to create a supportive environment.
- Participate in team meetings, professional learning opportunities, and staff training.
- Assist with housekeeping duties and program setup and teardown.
