We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Age Educator to join our team at Compass Early Learning and Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early learning and care to children in our program.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and lead engaging activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain active supervision and engagement with children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Document children's learning progress through observation, reflection, and research questions.
- Create a nurturing environment that protects children's health, safety, and well-being.
- Assist children with daily routines, including diapering, dressing, and eating habits.
- Foster strong relationships with families and involve them in the learning process.
- Collaborate with coworkers, families, and community partners to create a supportive environment.
- Participate in team meetings, professional learning opportunities, and staff training.
- Assist with housekeeping duties and program setup and teardown.
