Job Title: Dietitian I, Gastroenterology

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dietitian I, Gastroenterology to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert nutrition care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and support to patients and families on nutrition-related topics.
  • Develop and implement nutrition-related policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in pediatric nutrition and gastroenterology.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC).
  • Graduate of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • One year of recent experience working in pediatric gastroenterology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
