Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of production materials, ensuring efficient operations and accurate inventory management.
About You- You have a college degree/diploma in a related field with 3-5 years of experience in inventory/system administration or MRP and scheduling with ERP Software.
- You possess strong technical aptitude with MS Office applications and excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
- You have experience with Microsoft Dynamics and knowledge of construction materials.
- Timely and efficient receipt and release of material to production teams.
- Maintain accurate ERP database for effective and timely reporting to the Finance Team.
- Oversee and organize the inventory team for success in their duties.
- Ensure team adherence to SOP and Health and Safety policies.
- Maintain inventory equipment and systems.
- Resolve unexpected situations to maintain production timelines.
- Implement and maintain SOP's for optimal team efficiency.
- Coordinate with production and warehousing teams.
- Organize and execute inventory counts.
- Relationship Management: building relationships at all levels and across teams.
- Critical thinking: problem solving, following direction, and working independently or with a team.
- Assessment and Mitigation Skills: sound judgement in making decisions involving dynamic situations.
- Character Based Leadership: leading with integrity, humility, and transparency.
- Building High Performing Teams: delivering results by empowering people and creating a positive work environment.
- Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
