Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of security operations at our site level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Management: Provide input on team member performance objectives and evaluations, ensuring that all team members are meeting the required standards.
  • Training and Development: Mentor, coach, and train front-line security staff on best practices for security operations, including the use of non-gaming record-keeping systems.
  • Security Operations: Verify security timesheets, monitor and document internal and external violations, and report any potential hazards or suspicious activities.
  • Guest Services: Enroll guests into the Self-Exclusion Program and oversee crowd control for special events.
  • System Administration: Administer and maintain various critical security systems, including Key Control, WINPAC, SIMS, and Threat Management System.
  • Surveillance: Review surveillance files, maintain site surveillance equipment, and report any issues.
  • Access Control: Enforce restricted access by unauthorized persons and observe cashier transactions and slot drops.
  • Patrols and Response: Conduct regular patrols of the entire property, identify risks and conditions that present safety issues, and respond to security incidents.
  • First Aid and Lost Property: Provide or assist with First Aid for team members and guests, and tag and report found property.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments, develop and cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with licensing laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of security experience in a gaming environment, with supervisory experience an asset
  • Certifications: Must be willing to recertify every 3 years for Use of Force
  • Skills: Computer literacy in MS Office, ability to understand, speak, and write English, and fluency in other languages an asset
Work Environment

This is a regular casino/Racino environment, requiring standing and walking for long periods of time, with some elements of danger, exposure to the elements, noise, and non-traditional work hours.
