Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA delivers day-to-day services to clients of Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS). With IT & Operations teams working together under the same leadership, GBTO aims to meet evolving client needs and market requirements. This involves anticipating technological advances to accelerate and support the transformation of GBIS activities.

The Loan Servicing Group oversees loan administration for the Société Générale New York branch, comprising two main groups: Closers and servicers. The former set up deals in the bank's system (LIQ), while the latter manages loan administration, including notices, funding, interests, and fees.

Your Role as a Transversal Expert:

You will be a transversal expert supporting the Structured Finance department, focusing on operational performance and efficiency across the perimeter. Key responsibilities include assisting production teams, providing technical support to build expertise within STR Servicing teams, reviewing loan transactions, and overseeing the approval of loan forms.

Key Performance Indicators:

Your success will be measured by your ability to ensure proper reconciliation of interest, commitment fees, and investigate any discrepancies. You will also contribute to improving AMER processes and aligning STR processes globally, focusing on data quality, payments, event management, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Loan IQ (LIQ Loan System) with experience servicing syndicated deals as an agent
  • Strong understanding of loan products and cash payment principles in USD and foreign currencies
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending using Loan IQ, with exposure to diverse portfolios (agency/syndicated loans)
  • Knowledge of financial products, especially loans, guarantees, and standby letters of credit

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-confidence, the ability to work independently, and strong organizational and time management skills
  • A team player who collaborates effectively

Languages: English is required for this position, as you will collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States. Due to US Federal Securities law, candidates will undergo enhanced background screening, including fingerprint collection.

Earn $80,000 - $120,000 per year: Your salary will depend on your qualifications and experience.
