Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team at ASL Distribution Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of our shipping office, ensuring seamless and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and prioritize inbound loads, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Coordinate with carriers and clients to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate billing paperwork for carriers and courier drivers.
  • Ensure complete and accurate data is entered into our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Process and confirm customer orders, managing the shipping docks and planning for shipment deliveries.
  • Communicate with in-bound carriers to support customer, transportation, and operational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain solid relationships with shipping and receiving dock coordinators, coworkers, and drivers.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Service-oriented with strong customer service skills and a commitment to quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
