Job Opportunity: Clinical Teaching Dermatologist

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Teaching Dermatologist to join our team at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal.

About the Position

This is a temporary full-time position with a duration of 4 years. As a Clinical Teaching Dermatologist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the excellence of our faculty by providing clinical teaching and ensuring the visibility of your discipline.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in clinical teaching, including providing care and services to meet the various needs of the dermatology service's clientele;
  • Supervise undergraduate students during internships and graduate students in their programs;
  • Ensure the visibility of your discipline and your research activities;
  • Actively participate in the operation of a renowned institution.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent, a diploma from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) or the European College of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD), and a license to practice from the Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec.

Work experience and/or clinical teaching experience in a university setting would be an asset. An adequate knowledge of the French written and spoken language or a strong commitment to mastering the proficiency level required, in accordance with Université de Montréal's Language Policy, is also necessary.
