Job Opportunity: Clinical Teaching Dermatologist

We are seeking a qualified clinician to join our team as a Clinical Teaching Dermatologist at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal. This is a full-time temporary position, replacing an existing faculty member.

About the Role

As a Clinical Teaching Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical teaching and supervision to undergraduate and graduate students. You will also contribute to the excellence of the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire through your teaching, research, and service activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical teaching and supervision to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of dermatology curriculum
  • Participate in research activities and publish scholarly work
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and clinicians to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
  • Diploma from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) or the European College of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD)
  • License to practice from the Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec
  • Work experience and/or clinical teaching experience in a university setting
  • Adequate knowledge of the French language, written and spoken
