Bakery Specialist Job Description

At Twists and More, we are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing dough for various baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats. They will also be responsible for requisitioning materials, operating machinery, and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Prepare special orders
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Operate machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of communication
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week
