Localization Specialist with Slovenian Language Expertise

The RoleWe're seeking a Slovenian Localization QA Tester to work with us on an on-call basis. As a member of our QA team, you'll be responsible for testing video games to ensure linguistic, visual, and cultural accuracy in the localized text. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for video games, we want to hear from you.
The Responsibilities- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Slovenian
- Identify and report translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead
- Native-level language competency in Slovenian
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional competency in English
- Starting salary set at 17 CAD/hour
