About Our Client

De Lacy Executive Limited is pleased to introduce this exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Agronomy Sales Professional to join our client's team. As a key member of the sales team, you will play a critical role in expanding our client's presence in the row crop market in Ontario.

Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and develop individual grower crop plans to optimize crop yields and minimize waste. You will also be responsible for conducting in-field scouting, working with industry partners to run field-scale trials, and reviewing customer receivables.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through relationship-building and prospecting
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Provide expert agronomic advice to customers, including crop planning, weed, insect, and disease management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and communicate insights to customers and stakeholders

Requirements

- Post-secondary education, diploma, or degree in Agriculture or Marketing
- Minimum 3 years of experience in agronomic sales, preferably in the row crop field
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft software
- Valid G Driver's license and willingness to provide driver's abstract
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs as needed
