Accounting Clerk Position Available at Truckpoint

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting clerk to join our team at Truckpoint. As an accounting clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
Responsibilities- Prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Maintain financial records and establish, balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, with 1 year or less of experience preferred.
- You must have strong attention to detail, be able to work under pressure, and have good communication skills.
- Repetitive tasks may be involved.
- This is a permanent position, working 35-40 hours per week.
- The work language is English.
