About the Role

You'll play a key role in a dynamic and passionate team, collaborating on a variety of projects in the renewable energy, hydroelectric, transportation, buildings, climate change, and mining markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop plans, schedules, and other project elements;
  • Carry out technical procedures and work plans;
  • Manage and/or draft all document deliverables for your projects;
  • Attend and/or lead project management, client, office, and team meetings;
  • Plan, monitor, and supervise geotechnical investigations involving exploratory drilling and/or wells, soil sampling, monitoring of well and piezometer installations, and in-situ testing;
  • Process, compile, and analyze data;
  • Carry out project administration tasks as required, including timesheet generation and project invoicing;
  • Supervise, support, and/or mentor project team members;
  • Ensure all Englobe health & safety policies and procedures are rigorously followed, and take part in H&S inspections;
Requirements
  • A university degree in geological engineering, civil engineering, or a related field;
  • Superior document management abilities, and experience writing proposals, specifications, case studies, technical and non-technical reports;
  • Good written and verbal English skills, and superior communication skills;
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills;
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle;
  • Previous experience in an engineering environment, and with geotechnical drilling, settlement analyses, slope stability assessments, and civil construction would be an asset;
Soft Skills and Qualities
  • Flexibility and adaptability with scheduling changes and available for overtime, evening, or weekend work during peak periods, as required;
  • A strong commitment to consistently delivering high-quality work;
  • Interest in mentoring/sharing knowledge and expertise with junior team members;
