Job Summary

\

We are seeking a skilled Technical Services Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise to customers, ensuring that their towing packages are installed correctly and safely.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Understand and explain U-Haul's variety of towing packages to customers\
  • Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles\
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers\
  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University\
  • Other duties as assigned\

Requirements:

\

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, basic wiring and hand/power tool experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also be able to operate automatic and manual transmissions.

\

Work Environment:

\

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

\

Physical Demands:

\

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationery, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
