ResponsibilitiesAs a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services for patient care. You will perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening. You will also serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program, be registered as a Dental Hygienist and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements, and have valid CPR certification. You must also be legally eligible to work in Canada.
