About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to providing secure, valuable, and sustainable workplace retirement solutions for Canadians. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality reviews of high-risk cases, such as pension life events and lump sum payments, and perform transaction, batch process, and post-payment audits to identify system gaps and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure seamless administrative readiness for new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support quality assurance initiatives.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to pension administration teams on system updates, process changes, and new functionalities.
Requirements
  • A College Diploma or University Degree, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Multi-Employer Pension Plans (MEPP), public sector pension administration, or with an outsourcing service provider.
  • A strong understanding of pension administration processes, systems, pension plan texts, and applicable legislation.
  • Hands-on experience in testing and documenting system changes, new functionality, and system updates within a pension administration environment.
  • Experience in implementing new pension systems, including familiarity with testing methodologies, defect analysis, quality reviews, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Experience in auditing and conducting quality reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls and data accuracy.
