We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector Level C to join our production team at our Cambridge, Ontario facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring we meet our customers' quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

Primary Function:

The successful candidate will perform all tasks of an Inspector Level C and conduct non-destructive examinations. This includes:

  • Performing NDE in all areas of the Shop
  • Reading and interpreting documentation, including drawings and operating procedures
  • Creating inspection reports and maintaining documentation
  • Demonstrating good workmanship and practices
  • Communicating effectively with internal team members and customer representatives
  • Working in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and regulations
  • Understanding and adhering to quality requirements and productivity expectations
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven commitment to workplace safety
  • MT Level 2 and PT Level 2 certifications, plus two of the following:
    • CEDO
    • UT CGSB-1
    • RT CGSB-1
    • Two years of experience as a Fabrication/Machining inspector with BWXT
    • Five years of experience as a Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or five years of Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT
    • Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2)
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in the nuclear power-related industry
  • A commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member
  • Proficiency with computer software
  • Availability to work all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and overtime
