Job Title: Inspector Level C

BWXT Canada Ltd. is a world leader in design, engineering, manufacture, construction, and service of nuclear power generation equipment. We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector Level C to join our production team at our Cambridge, Ontario facility.

Job Summary:

The Inspector Level C will be responsible for performing all tasks of an Inspector Level C and conducting non-destructive examinations. This includes reading and interpreting documentation, creating inspection reports, maintaining and filing documentation, and demonstrating good workmanship and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform NDE in all areas of the Shop
  • Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures
  • Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation
  • Demonstrate good workmanship and practices
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines/regulations
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations
Requirements:
  • Proven commitment to workplace safety
  • Must possess MT Level 2 and PT Level 2, plus 2 of the following: CEDO, UT CGSB-1, RT CGSB-1, 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector with BWXT, 5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT, Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2)
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry
  • Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations
  • Proficiency with computer software
  • Available to work all shifts
