Job Title: Talent Acquisition Professional

At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for facilitating full-cycle recruitment and providing exceptional support to hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate full-cycle recruitment, from initial intake meetings to offer extensions and onboarding.
  • Manage a high volume of union and non-union requisitions, ranging from administrative roles to senior leadership positions.
  • Conduct intake meetings to ensure thorough understanding of positions being recruited for.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on interviewing best practices, market conditions, and recruitment strategies.
  • Identify and implement effective sourcing methods to attract top talent.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain talent pools through proactive networking and social media engagement.
  • Complete offer extensions and negotiate employment terms with successful candidates.
  • Provide training and support for our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to other users.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies for various recruitment projects.

Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in corporate recruitment, preferably in a high-volume agency recruitment setting.
  • Experience recruiting in a unionized environment, working within the parameters of a collective agreement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment standards, human rights, and labour relations as it relates to recruitment.
  • Ability to implement creative recruitment strategies and directly source qualified candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), with Njoyn experience a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
  • French language skills considered an asset but not required.
