Talent Acquisition Professional

At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for facilitating full-cycle recruitment and providing exceptional support to hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate full-cycle recruitment, from initial intake meetings to offer extensions and onboarding.
- Manage a high volume of union and non-union requisitions, ranging from administrative roles to senior leadership positions.
- Conduct intake meetings to ensure thorough understanding of positions being recruited for.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on interviewing best practices, market conditions, and recruitment strategies.
- Identify and implement effective sourcing methods to attract top talent.
- Prepare and post job advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pools through proactive networking and social media engagement.
- Complete offer extensions and negotiate employment terms with successful candidates.
- Provide training and support for our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to other users.
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies for various recruitment projects.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in corporate recruitment, preferably in a high-volume agency recruitment setting.
- Experience recruiting in a unionized environment, working within the parameters of a collective agreement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment standards, human rights, and labour relations as it relates to recruitment.
- Ability to implement creative recruitment strategies and directly source qualified candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), with Njoyn experience a bonus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
- French language skills considered an asset but not required.
