Job Summary

UHAUL is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Flatbed Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the flatbed truck, including regular inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Transport Goods: Transport goods and materials across various routes, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from the flatbed truck, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Inspect Vehicles: Conduct regular pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Manage Logistics: Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and a valid driver's licence.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Work Type: On the road job.
  • Language: English.
