Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President, Asset Management to join our team at Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our Capital Markets Sales and Service team, you will be responsible for providing markets-based sales and trading solutions to institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and trading strategies to maximize profit while minimizing risk
  • Provide comprehensive account coverage and client development, including prospecting new clients to increase revenue
  • Work closely with sales, trading, and research teams to provide seamless client coverage
  • Develop and facilitate development of client-focused solutions based on financial expertise and client awareness
  • Distill market and internal data to negotiate solutions, terms, and conditions with clients and internal counterparts
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial derivatives, capital markets, and sales/trading/hedging strategies
  • Strong understanding of broader regulatory and financial concepts
  • Advanced deal execution and project management skills
  • Strong financial analysis and risk management skills
  • Bilingualism (French/English) required
