Job Title: Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 3-10 years of experience in commercial litigation to join our team at GPAC.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, conducting thorough research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop and implement case plans, ensuring seamless communication with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare and present legal documents, arguments, and evidence in court, demonstrating exceptional advocacy skills.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Law Society of British Columbia.
  • 3-10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a strong track record of success.
  • Strong academic credentials, including excellent law school transcripts.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with big law firms preferred, but not required.
