Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at CKS Carpet and Flooring Ltd. As a Flooring Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient floor coverings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting and resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

Work Environment: This is a physically demanding role that requires working in dusty and noisy environments. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
