We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a tenure-track faculty member in the field of virology.

About the Position

The Centre Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie (AFSB) of the INRS invites applications for a tenure-track position in virology. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a research program in virology, with a focus on basic and applied research in this field.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct original research in virology, with a focus on basic and applied research in this field.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on collaboration and knowledge transfer with other researchers and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor students and postdoctoral fellows in their research projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the Centre's research strategy and goals.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in virology or a related field, with a strong background in research and academic experience. They will also have a strong track record of publication and presentation of research at national and international conferences.
